This place is my second home! The owners, teachers, and students at Jersey City ballroom are an excellent community to be a part of. The quality of instruction is top level and there are always fun events to go to. I have been going here for many years, and it has really made my time in Jersey City so much better. I have made many lifelong friendships through my experiences there. They offer great programs for wedding couples, new dancers, as well as high level training for competitive dancers such as myself.
I have been taking private ballroom lessons with Werner now for nearly 3 years since loving to Jersey City and I can say that the studio is one of the most friendly and supportive communities I have been apart of. As a student, Werner has taken the time and effort to get to know my personal goals and has tailored my lessons accordingly. They have supported me through multiple life changes including my husband and my first dance as well as my first pregnancy (I danced throughout my entire pregnancy), continually providing undivided guidance, support, and attention in a non-judgemental and pressure free environment. Highly recommend as a studio for those who are new to ballroom or experienced… any level welcomed and supported!
I started coming to Jersey City Ballroom in 2017 to prepare for my wedding dance. My now-husband and I got amazing choreography a super friendly instruction. Our guests could not stop complimenting us on our dance all night! Since then I’ve continued to take dance lessons and classes there and cannot speak highly enough of Dylan’s instruction and dedication. The environment at Jersey City Ballroom is incredibly welcoming and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to learn a wedding dance or just to improve their dancing overall.
