Top Spots for Comedy in Jersey City

With the holidays coming up and inevitably being stuck inside with family for days, everyone could use a good laugh right now, so EverythingJerseyCity.com compiled a list of the top venues and shows to see comedy right here in Jersey City!

Everyone knows NYC is the comedy capital of the world, but many don’t realize that these high-profile comics that you see on TV every night often take a quick Path ride under the Hudson to Jersey City to perform. So, instead of heading into the city for date night again or going to the same bar after work, swing by one of these awesome shows–which are often cheaper and way more fun than Star Trek bar trivia with Carl from IT.

And considering that Jersey City is the most culturally diverse city in America, we have unique up-and-coming talent and a growing number of venues that offer shows and open mics for highlighting this talent. Whether you want to support local talent or have a fun, affordable night out, check out one of the great shows. Or who knows – maybe you’ll find yourself performing on stage at one of the open mics we listed? Either way, have fun and take advantage of another one of Jersey City’s many perks!
